IQ  EQ SQ…..may be now HQ or the happiness quotient.

One expects a rich man to be happy. But many  a times even a poor man  is also happy. And also there are occasions where a rich person too is unhappy.

So what defines happiness?

What is a common parameter to measure the happiness ?

May be we need to develop an HQ which determines  the level happiness, which an individual enjoys irrespective of the material wealth one possesses.

Remember old time simple stories " Once there lived in a small village, a loving couple with their two kids happily within their meager means…..and may more happiness anecdotes especially the one where a Rich MBA on vacation lectures a  Happy go lucky Fisherman, who in his daily routine is already enjoying what the Rich MBA aspired to do after  successfully struggling with business  complexities…."        

It seems everything prunes down to the environment or the family unit where things are well synchronised and are in a harmony due to limited  wants/desires. Where every action or reaction  supports each other to grow and develop ones potential, for which one does not need to be stinking rich. A guy though may be stinking rich - still may be unhappy due to lack of desired harmony and synchronisation around him/her.

Happiness is affected by quantum of wants and desires. With more  and more life complexities & exposure, the wants & desires increase. If one leads a  simple life, then the requirements and desires of that person are very limited-making one happy in his or her existing environment.

These desires and wants though motivate a person to achieve/deliver but in the process create a stress which taxes on ones HAPPINESS, if one stretches ones resources too fine.

It appears that whether GOD's existed or not but the learned people (Gurujan)visualised /set 'very high standards 'through the epics of Hanuman/Ram… They visualised highest order and inspired the young to follow them to become  super achievers. Propagation of these standards was made more effective by singing Aartis/Bhajans

When we pray through HANUMAN CHALISA, we tend to follow the traits elaborated in the it. Probably Hanuman Bhakti  means  holding at a high platform the virtues of Lord Rama and then follow them using the qualities/traits of Lord Hanumana. The individual may or may not be there, but the virtues or the worshipped gunas are given the shape of Rama/Hanumana

If we believe in them, then we must hold all those exemplary actions in high esteem. The person who acts on the basis of these gunas is enabled and achieves the due heights as stated in the Hanuman Chalisa/ Ramayana.

The  one who follows the path of Lord Hanuman - should emulate the traits elaborated in the Hanuman Chalisa for attainment of Rama the ultimate ideals and the related strengths/ achievements.

Lord Hanuman is depicted as a Seeker of Bal Buddhi & Vidya.-thereby becoming the ocean of knowledge (Gyan Gun Sagar). So all actions are directed towards attainment of the three.

GOD or ENERGIES

Are there any answers to how every thing around us …the world/universe came into existence.

There may be no creators. Simply existence of  the universe, the vacuum & the various energies……after that it is the game of probability, resulting in  milky way-solar system-earth & the life here.

There are various energy sources- living/non-living which are probably connected in a intricate UNIVERSAL WEB OF ENERGIES. This web of energy is well connected and balances each other. A small body cell/bacteria with some energy in it has impact on the whole human-being. Nerves are so beautifully connected that response at one corner of body is felt at the brain level-the energy centre. Similarly some where the energy of human body and other energy sources are  connected to each other, the world and the universe in an intricate and an balancing fashion.

Those who are able to learn more about these energies & are able to exploit the brain powers to pull together/fuse these energies: probably became the higher humans (may be GODs) or the more successful humans.

The total energy level of the whole (UNIVERSE) is  constant & is in a constant state of flux due to intricate play between it's various component sources. Like it takes hundred of years for light energy  to travel from SUN to EARTH, similarly in this mesh of energies an energy change (Any kind of good or bad action. Even thought is a kind of energy) at particular point may not be able to feel back the impact in its life span-but   it comes back due to perfect balancing in this ABSOLUTE ENERGY BALL.

SO MEDITATION WITH EFFORTS TO UNDRESTAND/EXPLORE THE BETTER USAGE OF ENERGIES INSIDE and AROUND US NEED TO BE PURSUED FOR THE ULTIMATE GROWTH.

All those who were able to understand & use these energies in a positive manner became GODs & those who exploited in a negative manner became the EVIL/DEMONS….. Over the ages they have co-existed. The +ve & -ve energies are always at play at some level or the other we have to learn to survive between the two by understanding more about THE PLAYING RULES OF THESE ENERGIES.

                    The things are happening in total random fashion unconnected in individuality but are a part of one whole, where the  total energy level remains unchanged. It's only that it's distribution or flow which keeps changing based on varying actions.

There is also another thought that there are smaller living things then bigger and bigger and bigger.  Each oblivious of each other but coexisting without interfering. But when the interference is their intentional or unintentional an imbalance occurs resulting in diseases/catastrophes.

For example take ants &  humans coexist. But when ant become pest or come in their way, the ants are flushed/sprayed/mashed…all catastrophes. Similarly the human suffers the earthquakes/ floods/ epidemics when we become pest for higher beings or interfere with the world of bacteria's…the smaller beings.

If we consider the human body it is made of Five sources -WATER, FIRE, EARTH,AIR & THE VACUUM (UNIVERSE). A continuous balance need to be maintained by human beings with the outside sources of these five elements.

WATER: It is said that almost 90% of human body is made of water. A person can survive without water only for few days. So water balance in the body need to be monitored/maintained.

EARTH: To maintain the body energies earth items (food) is required. Needs to be replenished on regular basis.

FIRE: Body has a particular temperature range in which it performs. By taking due care the temperature range (the FIRE element) has to be maintained.

AIR: it's only few seconds when one can survive without it .The balance here connects the body to the inner self or the aatman which knows everything.

The above four elements  need to be balanced with our external environment on day to day basis.

The fifth element  THE UNIVERSE or THE GREAT VACUUM is balanced with our mind through meditation. It is here we strive to balance/interact with the other energy forces & thus maximise them for best positive results.

CEO in the airlines parlance relates to the three core operating departments :

C Commercial

E Engineering

O Operations

They are just like the three wheels of an aircraft on which an airline stands. Commercial dapartment is the nose wheel guiding the airline aircraft with the support of the Engineering and the Operations which support in the form the remaing two main wheels.

The CEO of the airline is the one who synchronises these core operating dapartments to thrust an airline forward. For success of any airlines these three departments are like the three Aces in a card game which makes an airline win in the game of aviation business. Weakness in any one area would marr the probability of winning even if the other two are strong. The CEO needs to strengthen, align and synchronise all the three ACES to WIN...

One needs to align the physical posture with the breathing pattern and the mind space(focus).

The physical posture can be decided by stretch level or angle up-to which the body is comfortable with and gives a relaxing feeling.After deciding with the posture, now align the breathing pattern with it, followed by focusing the mind to the unity of posture & the breathing.(the guiding principle is that the body and the mind are not strained but are at peace and are synchronized with each other)

There seems to be no harm in trying such postures(self created aasanas) which relax your body , help in focusing the mind & stabilise the breath....

Corruption

Indian Mindset has an inclination towards corruption, inaction. ‘Jantae Hoe Maein Kaun Houn’ and ‘Chalta Hae’ kind of attitude.

BUT Why CORRUPTION ???
What breeds corruption in India ?

It seems people fall into the trap of corruption because they:

-commit mistakes

-make lapses

-fail to meet the required deadlines

All this probably happens due to lack of proper communications of systems and procedures which in themselves are not customer friendly.

The time-lines/payment locations are not as per the customer’s convenience- 24hours online services are an answer to this kind of problems.

The people also should be bold and courageous enough to come forward and face the penalties and not to go in for short cuts/escape routes. In-fact such escape routes should be made difficult (by good policing/monitoring/plugging the gaps) & unviable-making them high risk and practically nil benefits).

Further the Community Culture to be developed in way that it encourages FIGHTERS than the FIXERS. The growing and the expanding Companies who hires FIXERS to cut through the RED TAPE ETC should rather HIRE FIGHTERS who anticipate these bottle necks and then plan /strategies’ within the legal rights. The companies should anticipate and build in the cost/time due to the FIGHT OUTS rather than going in for THE PAYOUTS. The real winners should be the achievers who get the results by fighting out, rather than the achievers who get the results by paying out/fix-ups.

The Problem Psychology of Being Beyond The Rules. If we promote the right and questioning attitude (RTI IS A STEP FORWARD) we may be able to check corruption. When one is wrong in his action, from there only the weakness starts and one tends to bend backwards. It is here that the corruption starts. The guy at the other end will milk you if he knows that you are vulnerable.

A momentum needs to be built “involving the Hearts & Minds” of the people, where people take pride in achieving without Paying up.

Next step is to MAKE THE LAW WORK. The systems and procedures should be redesigned in a way so as to make the role of any kind of middleman unattractive/un-remunerative. This is possible by bringing about effective e-governance, more n more online facilities. Proper Communication/awareness of the system, procedures, rules regulations will also help in avoiding the middlemen. Further the Rates and Taxes should be practical and convenient to understand and apply so that the public is not discouraged but encouraged to PAY-UP.

"JAGOE RAE " by TATA Tea was a good shot in the direction. Indian youth has to become questioning…but we can't expose them to atrocities of the Police/Politicians/bureaucrats & lawyer nexus. They have to act smartly without getting into their trap. An all level strategy rather a movement needs to be build up to fight corruption and inaction….. All most everybody wants pie without working full. People are on lookout for shortcuts & quick money. This attitude needs to be replaced by an attitude to bring quality approach in day today workings- no short changing others. Doing ones duty to the full, but this needs a favorable environment which supports such attitude & not mocks at such sincere & committed people. Rather the system should be efficient to pick up such people & reward them.

Starting & launching more and more projects which highlight such approach will help build up the momentum. RTI & unique id (Aadhaar) show that efforts are on. More such public projects & setups should come up which hale building the environment supporting the sincere & the committed on one side and penalising those going for shortcuts/shortchanging others or compromising on qualitative public deliveries

PS : Fight against corruption should be celebrated as a FESTIVAL all over the nation...this spirit needs to percolate to the all levels of society-Just like everybody celebrated the World Cup Victory. Even Mrs. Sonia Gandhi for a while could not hold herself and came out to join the crowds

High corruption levels have gone well beyond the level of just being discussed/e-mailed or blogged. Need is for creative and impacting actions to make a dent in this direction.More implementable ideas need to be Brain stormed to instill some fear or sense of shame in the minds of the corrupt :
○ Presenting ROSES like in Munna Bhai….
○ Bombarding the identified corrupt with SMS/e-mails/snail mails…..
○ Generating support of the corporate to sponsors such forums which act/fight
against the corrupt e.g Jagoe Rae by TATA tea
○ Come out with public award acknowledging those who
- Have made achievements in life with out compromising
- Corporates/Managers who have worked-up by FIGHTING OUT
MAKE EFFORTS TO REMOVE SHORTAGES-If supply is sufficient supported by healthy competition-this in itself shall be a jolt to CORRUPTION.
